Horseback Riding
Join your fellow travelers for a ride on horseback through the scenic landscape that surrounds our Alpine Center south of Salzburg. A short bus ride from the hotel takes you to the town of Altenmarkt. A skiing resort in winter, it offers plenty of magnificent riding trails in summertime. Our stable, Reitstall Scheickgut, will accommodate any proficiency level of rider, novice to experienced horseman or woman. After selecting a horse and saddling up, you will ride in a group on trails, along rivers and across Alpine meadows – total riding time 50 min. The stables are home to 30 horses (from Appaloosas and ponies to thoroughbreds); all animals are equipped with ENGLISH SADDLE.
