Day 1: Travel to Austria
Your Alpine Winter Adventure begins with an overnight flight to Europe.
Meals: In-flight
Day 2: Salzburg & Ski Resort
Upon arrival, transfer to your four-star hotel in the city center. Free afternoon while others arrive. Meet for a welcome orientation cocktail with your local host.
Meals: Buffet breakfast
Day 3: Salzburg & Ski Resorts
After enjoying your buffet-breakfast, board the shuttle bus to the ski resort for a whole day of skiing, snowboarding and/or après-ski activities. Return to the hotel in the evening. Salzburg Winter Adventurers may sign up for a city walking tour or explore the city on your own. Suggested evening activities: Visit one of Salzburg’s city theatres, the Mozarteum or the Salzburg Casino.

Day 4: Salzburg & Ski Resorts
If you are ready to experience the next resort, hop on the bus in front of the hotel. You can hold on to your ski/snowboarding equipment until your host returns it the last day. For non-skiers a variety of options are available. How about a visit to the Oktoberfest city of Munich or the Swarovski crystal factory in Innsbruck? Of course, there is always shopping to be done on Salzburg’s Getreidegasse. Don’t miss the nightlife in Mozart’s city. Hidden behind ancient facades are bustling beer halls, pulsating nightclubs and other popular hangouts.

Day 5: Salzburg & Ski Resorts
Can you master the slopes where the Alpine Ski World Championships take place? Try your skills at today’s resort. Consider a Badgastein sleigh-ride tour, book a horse-carriage ride -- go winter hiking, ice skating or cross-country skiing. This evening you may want to indulge in classical music. The Hohensalzburg Fortress features concerts on select nights of the week. Check with your host for availability and performance times.

Day 6: Salzburg & Ski Resorts
If you don’t feel like skiing today, explore some of the many museums Salzburg has to offer. Hohensalzburg Fortress or Mozart’s birthplace are also a must see. Visit one of the many typical café houses in the city and taste one or more of their decadent pastries and have coffee with ‘Schlag.’ Then, consider a spa treatment and swim at the Paracelsus Pool and Spa to work it off. Suggestions for the evening; Pub-crawling or Salzburg’s famous Marionettentheater (puppet theatre).

Day 7: Salzburg & Ski Resorts
Your last day to take in another one of Austria’s famous ski resorts. Remember to return your ski equipment today. Check with your host about arranging an excursion for you if you are done skiing. Enjoy your last night in this magical city and if you haven’t done so, make sure to try some of the local delicacies at any one of the typical restaurants.
