Day 1: Flight to Europe

Cross the Atlantic on an overnight flight to sunny Madrid - Europe's highest capital.

Day 2: Madrid

After checking in to your hotel, the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the Spanish capital. Then meet your traveling companions at our welcome orientation and savor authentic local specialties and sangria at our Fiesta Dinner this evening.n.

Day 3: Madrid

Madrid's delightful sights include the Royal Palace, bustling Plaza Mayor, the Puerto del Sol and the monument to Cervantes at the Plaza Espana. Afternoon is at leisure for you to discover this amazing city. Perhaps see the Bullring or visit the famous Prado Museum to see works by Velasquez, Goya and El Greco. Tonight, why not enjoy the local nightlife?

Day 4: Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

Travel south through the rolling hills of Don Quixote's La Mancha to Cordoba. Inspect the old Roman ruins, the Emir Fort as well as the impressive 8th-century Mosque of the Caliphs. Then white-washed villages of Andalusia bring us to sophisticated Seville.

Day 5: Seville

The discovery of America had its inception in this city when Columbus asked Queen Isabella for permission to sail along a new route to the Indies.  Our sightseeing includes the tomb of Christopher Columbus, Alcazar Palace and the elaborate Giralda Bell Tower.  Later, you'll feel the pace quicken in time with clicking castanets at a festive Flamenco Show.

Day 6: Seville - Granada - Costa del Sol

Wind along the Costa del Sol, European's playground on the "Sunshine Coast" then through the Sierra Nevada mountains to Grenada.

Day 7: Granada - Guided visit of Alhambra Palace

From the sparkling sea to the soaring mountain peaks of the Sierra Nevadas.  Explore the fantasy palace Alhambra, built by Moorish Kings.  Like something straight out of Arabian Nights, wander among magnificent reflecting pools, arabesque gardens of Generalife and carved harem walls.

Day 8: Granada - Ibiza

Time for non-stop action on Ibiza! Head east to the Mediterranean coast and catch a ferry to Spain's world-famous party island.

Day 9: Ibiza

Relax on Ibiza’s beautiful beaches during the day, soak in the sun or people-watch. Try snorkeling or take an underwater dive. Rummage through the fun portside boutiques of Sa Penya or the street stalls of Carrer d’Enmig. As the sun sets, grab a table at the famous Café del Mar and chill out to lounge music while sipping on a cocktail. Afterwards explore the island’s famous nightlife. With some of the world’s top DJs always on hand, playing in the hottest clubs, you’ve got lots of choices.

Day 10: Travel Home

Your land tour ends with breakfast this morning. Don't say "Good Bye" but "Hasta Luego" to all your new friends. You may opt to extend your stay and visit Barcelona on your own before returning home.
